How it works

From a fixed page to a book that fits.

The app reads your PDF the way a person would — finding the chapters, the paragraphs and the reading order — and then sets it again, for you.

How it works

From file to book in four steps.

  1. Step 1

    Import Your PDF

Bring the books you already own.

Pick a PDF from your phone or tablet. It is added to your private library, and you can follow its processing status live.

  2. Step 2

    We Rebuild the Book

The content is analyzed and structured into chapters, sections, paragraphs, images and more.

Running headers, page numbers and print hyphenation are set aside. Scanned pages are recognised with OCR. Lists, quotes, tables, footnotes and images keep their meaning.

  3. Step 3

    Make It Yours

Choose the typography, spacing, theme and layout you prefer.

Five reading typefaces, four themes, spacing and margin controls, paged or continuous scrolling — remembered and synced across your devices.

  4. Step 4

    Just Read

Your book automatically adapts to your screen and preferences.

Change the size or switch devices — the book re-paginates and opens on the exact sentence you were reading.

The idea

Meet a Better Way to Read.

Reflow extracts the content of your PDF, works out how it is organised, and rebuilds it as a responsive book — one that reflows to fit your screen and your preferences.

    PDF

    The file you already have.

  2. 02

    Understand

Text, headings, chapters, images and reading order are identified — with OCR for scanned pages.

  3. 03

    Rebuild

The content is reassembled as a structured, reflowable book.

  4. 04

    Read

Typography and layout adapt to you and your device.

A viewer shows you the page. Reflow rebuilds the book.

Document understanding

A book, not a stack of pages.

Instead of treating your book as a stack of pages, the reader understands its content: which lines are headings, where a chapter begins, what is a quotation, which image belongs to which paragraph.
  • Chapters and sections become a real table of contents.
  • Paragraphs are rejoined across page breaks.
  • Running headers and page numbers are set aside.
  • Quotes, lists, tables, footnotes and images keep their meaning.

Try it

Change the type. Watch the book rebuild itself.

This is the idea at the heart of Reflow. Pick a size, a typeface or a theme — the text reflows and the page count follows. Your place in the book stays exactly where it was.

Dynamic pagination

Pages That Fit Your Reading.

A traditional PDF has a fixed number of pages. Reflow creates its own reading pages by measuring how your book is actually laid out on your screen.

Reading pages are calculated from

  • Font
  • Font size
  • Screen dimensions
  • Margins
  • Line spacing
  • Paragraph spacing
  • Images
  • Layout

Chapters you have opened get exact page numbers straight away; the rest start as a calibrated estimate (shown as ~281) and are refined in the background.

Reading pages are a way of presenting the book on your screen. Your original PDF — and its page numbers — are never modified.
